New payment default entries (January-June 2009)
Financial problems of companies and private individuals are distinctly reflected in the number of payment default entries during the period of January – June 2009.
The number of entries registered for companies has increased by almost 40 percent and for private individuals by 17 percent, respectively. The share of adult Finns with payment defaults is approximately 7 percent.
Deviations in the total figures for 2004 and 2005 are due to the entries concerning impediments in enforcement, which are not comparable for the years 2004 and 2005.
