About Credit Data

Credit data refers to data on a person or company, which can have an impact on the payment ability. Suomen Asiakastieto Oy maintains a credit data file, which contains data on the payment defaults and other credit data entries of Finnish consumers and companies. Also, plenty of other data is available on companies, which is useful in decision-making; for example, data on decision-makers and persons in charge.

Credit Information Act

The regulation of credit data concerning consumers, companies, and companies’ persons in charge is assembled into one Act. The Act is applied to the production, recording, disclosure, use, and other processing of credit data. View the Act behind this link (in Finnish).
