Credit data refers to data on a person or company, which can have an impact on the payment ability. Suomen Asiakastieto Oy maintains a credit data file, which contains data on the payment defaults and other credit data entries of Finnish consumers and companies. In addition, plenty of other data is available on companies, which is useful in decision-making; for example, data on decision-makers and persons in charge.
The regulation of credit data concerning consumers, companies and companies’ persons in charge is assembled into one Act. The Act is applied to the production, recording, disclosure, use and other processing of credit data. View the Act behind this link (in Finnish).
If you wish to inspect which data on you has been entered in Suomen Asiakatieto Oy’s credit data file, you can send us a written request or visit our Omatieto information desk during its opening hours. You can fill in and print the inspection request form from this link. The fastest and cost-effective way to inspect your own data is to activate Minun Omatietoni service for a month.
